Principal Tam, Mr. Alex O and Dr. Hong Sang Fung attended a talk conducted by the renowned scholar Howard Gardner, who established the theory of multiple intelligence 30 years ago.

The talk is called “Beyond Wit and Grit”, in which Gardner raised an issue about what one needs to be successful. What is “Wit and Grit”? It means “To be smart and work hard”. Nowadays, multiple intelligence is adopted as an instructional direction to curriculum design in educational authorities as well as primary and secondary schools. In fact, Gardner’s theory has been playing an important role in education in the twenty-first century.
